Moundsville City Council

The City of Moundsville supports a City Manager/Council form of government. Council members serve a four (4) year term. Half of Council is up for election every two (2 ) years on a rotating basis. Council is made up of four (4) Ward Council Persons and three (3) at-large Council Persons. The Mayor is elected by a vote of council each July and serves a one (1) year term with a limit of two (2) consecutive terms.
