2020 Census Response Rate

Twelve municipalities in the Northern Panhandle have been "competing" to see who has the best response rate for the 2020 Census. Moundsville has been bounced back and forth between 5th and 6th place most of the time, but McMechen (currently in 7th place) is moving quickly (see standings below). Moundsville resdidents - if you have not responded to the Census, please DO IT NOW! It is so important to get an accurate count. It affects things that can help you! Things like funding for: Head Start, Nutrition Programs, Medicaid, Highway Planning and Construction, Public Safety Grants, Housing Assistance Programs, and much more.
