Boil Order Placed

Please be advised that a 48 hour boil order is in effect for Fourth Street to Seventh Street from Filbert Avenue to eastern Fourth Street in Moundsville.

Water service had to be shut off on Sunday, June 21st, 2026 to repair a break in the 8 inch main waterline located at Seventh Street and Poplar Avenue. The boil order is for residents of Fourth Street to Seventh Street and from Filbert Avenue to eastern Fourth Street, including Maxwell Acres, Hillview Terrace, Cristy Lynn Drive, and AAA Trailer Park. However, all residents who experienced low or no water pressure are impacted by this boil order.

The Maintenance/Distribution Crew were on site to make the repair and water service was returned to the customers as quickly as possible.

For our customer’s protection, a 48 hour boil order is in place following the restoration of water service until sample results are received from the lab in Wheeling. Notification will be sent out as soon as the boil order is lifted.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused to any anyone!
