Boil Order

Boil Order

Please be advised that a 48 hour boil order is in effect for Ohio Street from Kentucky Avenue to the Trailer Park in Moundsville.

Water service had to be shut down on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 to discontinue an unused 2 inch main waterline on Ohio Street. The customers affected are on Ohio Street between Kentucky Avenue and the Trailer Park. The Moundsville Water Maintenance/Distribution Crew are on site completing the necessary work and water service will be returned to the customers as quickly as possible.

For our customer’s protection, a 48 hour boil order is in place following the restoration of water service until sample results are received from the lab in Wheeling. Notification will be sent out as soon as the boil order is lifted.
